1. Follow Button:
- Google now has a “Follow” button. It’s like subscribing to topics you love.
- When you see the “Follow” button after a search, click it, and you’ll get updates on that topic.
- You can unsubscribe anytime.
- It’s not available for sensitive topics and is starting in the US first.
2. Search Results from Your Favorite Sites:
- Google will show results from sites you visit a lot.
- So, if you often go to a certain site, Google will show more from there.
- Your friend might see different results because it’s personalized for you.
3. Search History Personalization:
- Google checks which sites you often visit over time to show you more from those sites.
- You don’t need to follow a topic for this; it’s automatic.
- You can’t turn it off without turning off all personalization.
4. Others’ Perspectives:
- Google’s “Perspectives” feature lets you see what others say about a topic.
- It now shows content from social media, forums, blogs, and communities.
- It’s coming to desktop soon in the US.
5. Creators Details:
- Google will tell you more about the people who make the content.
- You’ll see their social media, follower count, and more.
- It’s rolling out in the US and India in the Google App and mobile search.
